Outside of painting and writing, Rachel works in IT, enjoys homesteading a 5 acre property with a garden, greenhouse, chickens and ducks, practicing yoga and meditation, sauna and cold plunging, playing the harp and djembe, going on adventures outdoors, and studying various healing modalities centered around soul development and community healing.  Working with plant medicine is a huge foundation for all of this.
 
Rachel obtained her black belt in karate at 13 alongside her whole immediate family, became a certified scuba diver at 16, certified in  Kundalini Yoga and in Reiki healing at 32, and continues studying various healing modalities with the goal of soul development, forming spiritual community, and bringing healing into all aspects of life and relationships.  At 41 she experienced the immense loss of her only sibling, brother and best friend, Danny Cocke, and works through maintaining their unique special soul bond across the veil.
